“I was House Captain for two years; 1936-37 and 1937-38. There was not a Pale Blue member in the Sixth form in September 1936 — hence I took up office while in the Upper Fifth form. Then in the Lower Sixth, I did my second year as House Captain. At the end of that year I received this scroll. You will see Miss Holden's signature at the top and the signatures of the Pale Blue House Mistresses.
