“Our congratulations go to the 1st Tennis VI on reaching and winning the finals of the ‘James Graham’ (sic) Tennis Challenge Cup competed for by all of the Girls’ High Schools in Leeds. They beat Roundhay High School in the finals by 4 matches to 1. J. Dunbar and D. Stone are to be especially congratulated, they won all their matches during the season. D. Stone is now playing for the Leeds University 1st couple, in her 1st year.”
